Yamabuki dojo is in.Hongo Bunkyou-ku.　Our dojo is a member of World Shitoryu Karatedo Federation.
We provide a small group of lesson so that every member can get a techinical advice from our teachers (sensei)
that leads you to higher level.
Lesson could be tough for you at first but the member is very friendly and you will find yourself enjoying a lesson
at the end.
Throughout the lesson, you can imporve not only your karate skill but also your mental toughness.

We are always welcome a new joiner.
We are also welcome a joiner who has no karate experience. We provide you with a detail lesson from
the beginning level.

What is Yamabuki dojo?
●We have one to two lessons a week.
●Our teachers (sensei) are well experienced and provide you with very detail lessons.
●Each lesson consists of small group of member; i.e. less than ten persons per lesson so sensei can focus on
each member.
●Our dojo is located in a transportation convenient place in Hongo. You can use either Hongou-3 chome subway
station; Marunouchi line or Oedo line, JR Suidobashi station, or JR Ochanomizu station. You can come to our dojo
after work or school.
●We have a training camp once a year in summer time.

Lesson hours：
Every Tuesday and Saturday from 19:00 to 21:00
Please note that no lesson in national holiday, the beginning of the year, and other event such as get together party.

Lesson schedule
1.warm up
2.Basic training
3.Advanced training
4.Kata
5.Weight training/stretching
The basic training is the most important.
After the warm up, we start with a basic training and weight training to focus on your weak point.
Based on the above training, we move on to the advance training such as kumite (sparring) or kata
<What is Kata?>
Kata is the series of movement of attack and protection against the virtual opponent.
There are number of kata and the World Shitoryu Karatedo Federation has the most kata among other federations.
The last part of the lesson, we do stretching that eases the tense of your body.

Our advanced members who have brown or black belts have graduated from the grad schools in USA so that you
can communicate with them in English.

We are welcome a person who is interested in our dojo and
a trial lesson or dojo visit is available anytime.

<Membership qualification
Age over 12 years old and in good physical condition
Require an interview with sensei for those who is under 18 years old.

<Fees>
One time Membership fee:JPY5,000
Monthly lesson fee: JPY7,000: The first two months of lesson fee is required to be paid by cash. From
the 3rd month, lesson fee is paid by bank remittance.
Lesson fee is pre-paid basis; i.e. every month end, the fee is paid for the next month.

Annual sports insurance premium: JPY1,850

Close to our Dojo, there is a temple called Koanji (see the picture below).When you find a Koanji on your left side,
